kia ora

My name is Te Hopo

I am a healer, I use traditional Māori methods to help people with a wide range of physical and psychological ailments. My whakapapa (lineage) is Moriori of Rēkohu closely linked to Kāti Huirapa which is an amalgamation of the oldest southern tribes Rapuwai, Waitaha, Hawea and Kāti Mamoe and most recently Kai Tahu.
Much of my knowledge is drawn from the Southern Lore of the Whare Wānaka via one of my teachers and cousin.

I use energy healing delivered through my physical body from the Tupuna (ancestors) to the areas of the Hinekaro (mind), Tinana (body), Wairua (spirit) that hold the mamae (hurt). This energy is delivered in one or more of modalities. These are;

  • Kōrero-a-wairua (Psychic Counselling)

  • Honohono (Energy Healing)

  • Rongoā Māori (Maori Medicine)

  • Taoka Puoro (Maori Instruments)
